COVID-19 Vaccination Programme
To support the government’s COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, Union Hospital provides free Comirnaty(BioNTech) and CoronaVac(Sinovac) Vaccination Service for the eligible persons in our Emergency Medicine Centre and Polyclinics since 2020.

COVID-19 PCR Tests Service
The laboratory of Union Hospital is recognized by the Department of Health, Hong Kong for providing COVID-19 PCR test service. Up until now, Union Hospital has completed over 200,000 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests.

Outpatient Service for COVID-19 patients who have mild symptoms

Emergency Medicine Centre
The Union Emergency Medicine Centre (EMC) provides 24/7 outpatient service for the patients who have mild COVID-19 symptoms, fever and respiratory tract symptoms.

Paediatrics Centre
A fever clinic for Paediatric patients with COVID-19 symptoms has been in operation since 15 March 2022, the clinic provides doctor consultation and medication treatment.

Public-Private Partnership Programme (PPP) for Inpatients
Union Hospital has assigned 80 beds to take in non-Covid convalescent patients from HA; the beds make up around 20 percent of all beds in the hospital. To ease the burden of public hospitals, Union Hospital has been providing surgical operation and screening service to the patients referred from Public Hospitals through the Public-Private Partnership Programme (PPP).

The Medical Centres and the polyclinics of Union Hospital provide the video consultation service for existing or follow-up patients. Our doctors may prescribe the medication and drug delivery can be arranged upon request.

Union Hospital set up a free ‘Home Quarantine Support Hotline’ to answer the patients’ enquiries by doctors.
